  • All in-stock orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • Orders are processed once full payment has been received.
  • Special-order or backordered items may have longer lead times, which will be communicated to you at the time of purchase.

 

 

 

2. Delivery & Couriers

 

 

  • We use trusted national courier services across New Zealand to deliver your order.
  • Estimated delivery times vary depending on your location, generally between 1–5 working days.
  • You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.

 

 

 

3. Shipping Costs

 

 

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
  • Free shipping may be offered on selected items or promotions (as advertised).

 

 

 

4. Responsibility & Risk

 

 

  • Once your order has been collected by the courier, JapDirect takes no responsibility for delays, damage, loss, or theft during transit.
  • Risk of goods passes to the customer once the order leaves our premises.
  • We recommend contacting the courier directly for any delivery issues using the provided tracking number.
  • If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours so we can assist in lodging a claim with the courier.

 

 

 

5. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

 

 

  • Please double-check that your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering.
  • JapDirect is not responsible for orders delayed, returned, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address.

 

 

 

6. Pick-Up Option

 

 

  • Local pick-up from our Hamilton location is available by appointment. You will be contacted when your order is ready for collection.

 

 

 

7. International Shipping

 

 

  • Currently, JapDirect ships within New Zealand only. For international inquiries, please contact us directly.
